Back from the edge.
I spent alot of time over the holidays working on my skills at retouching. Some of the work is to hide flaws and enhance beauty, and some is to just make an image look "cool". So, here are a couple of examples of what I did.

I had some other really important stuff to post and to talk about, but I can't remember what. Hmm....
Oh and one image from a shoot with a great model, Anjali. I have been looking at some new lighting techniques, and so I tried one out with my new lights I got for Christmas!

oh wow. i once knew a beautiful indian girl named anjali. the last time i saw her was sometime in 1996, winter i think, at a Bush concert at the Boutwell Auditorium in b'ham. Yeah, you heard me. Bush. Cmon, it was 1996, give me a break! No Doubt opened, and this was way before anyone had heard of them, way before Gavin and Gwen were a super couple. Anjali and I were up front, right at the stage. We had not gone to the show together, but just happened to find each other there- we had been acquaintances in high school. In between acts we talked, although she made me so nervous that i could come up with little to say. oh, she was beautiful. and there, standing crammed and pressed sweaty inbetween thousands, she let me put my arms around her, and we swayed together as Bush closed their set with "alien". after the show we said goodbye, i went with my friends, she with hers, and i never saw her again. to this day, whenever i hear that song, i think of her.
This photo of your model Anjali is mesmerizing. She is beautiful. Hope to see more photos like this!
Stunning!
